Yorktown, NY: Scientist David Fermoile spends most rainy spring evenings on the roads of Westchester County helping frogs cross without being crushed by cars. He says the network of roads has divided the landscape, creating a killing zone. The number of reptile and amphibian species in Westchester has fallen by 30% since the 60's.
